From humble beginnings in 1894, supplying oilskins to sailors, fishermen and dock workers in the once thriving port of England’s South Shields, John Barbour’s company has since gone on to become one of the world’s most recognisable international brands. Manufactured to standards so high, Barbour waxed cotton, thornproof jackets are said to last a lifetime. Adopted by equestrian enthusiasts, royalty and young city dwellers, the four-pocket Original Bedale style was first produced in 1980, and has been adapted especially for the WP BlueBlack Collection. The unisex black jacket features two additional chest pockets with flaps, together with a detachable navy blue hood. Both the zip and lining have been updated, and will be the colour black – especially for this collection.
