    Pea Coat

Isaac Spiewak’s career in outerwear manufacturing began on the sidewalks of New York in 1904, where he sold handmade sheepskin vests directly to members of the passing public. The Spiewak & Sons range soon developed, and after being applauded for the quality of their outerwear designed for local Brooklyn dock workers, they secured the contract to produce performance garments for the American armed forces, during both WWI and II. Their legacy continues to build, outfitting everyone from Olympians to subway drivers, utilizing highly sophisticated techniques to optimize weather resistance, performance and comfort. For the WP Lavori 30th Anniversary BlueBlack Collection, Spiewak will reproduce the original WWII Pea Coat in dark blue, with internal padding, contrast black cuff lining, and stitching details on the shoulder.
